DC55JE Brushless DC Pump: Specs, Protection & Application Guide
Share
If you are looking for a reliable high-head brushless DC pump for liquid circulation, solar setups, or custom liquid transfer projects, the DC55JE is a solid option worth checking out. This closed-impeller centrifugal pump runs on three-phase sine wave control, built for stable, quiet long-term operation.
The DC55JE comes in two voltage variants: 12V DC and 24V DC. The 24V version reaches a maximum flow of 2000L/H and a maximum static head of 32 meters, while the 12V model hits up to 1800L/H with 24m max head. It weighs 1.25kg, with a service life rated ≥30,000 hours and noise ≤35dB.
It features an IP68 waterproof rating and magnetic isolation leak-proof design. The pump shell is made of PPS+30%GF material, offering resistance to acid, alkali, salt and oil (test before use for special organic solvents). Liquid temperature range supports -30℃ to 100℃, with two driver styles: built-in driver for external use, and separated external driver for high-temperature or corrosive media.
Multiple safety protections are pre-programmed: jam protection, dry-run / water shortage protection, overload protection and reverse polarity protection. It supports PWM speed regulation, 0-5V potentiometer speed control or fixed-speed versions to match your project needs. Power supply options include DC adapters, solar panels or batteries.
Common use cases: water circulation systems, solar liquid transfer, fountain systems, and other liquid delivery tasks.
Note: Parameters are customizable. Flow rate will drop when working against lifting head, the listed max flow is horizontal flow without lifting height.
FAQ
Q: Can this pump run submerged? A: The external driver version supports submersible installation; the built-in driver type is for external use only.
Q: What is dry run protection behavior? A: When running without water, it cycles between stop and run, and the protection logic can be customized.
Q: Does it work with saltwater? A: It has salt corrosion resistance, but we suggest testing for long-term saltwater applications.
